Are Zi Wei Dou Shu, Tzu Wei Dou Shu, and ZWDS the same name?
Tzu Wei Dou Shu is a common Roman spelling and ZWDS a short form of Zi Wei Dou Shu. A shared name does not mean every calculator uses the same casting rules; Destin Field uses the documented Ancient Eighteen Flying Stars reconstruction and does not substitute the common fourteen-main-star system.
Why does the exact birth time matter?
The traditional two-hour birth branch helps determine the Life Palace. A time near a branch boundary can change parts of the chart, so the recorded time is preferred.
